11pm and clinging onto the remote, I leaped off the couch as I saw Cousins making a run toward home. At first, all I could focus on was the ball and how I saw it slip out of Posey’s glove. I was pissed! Then I saw how much pain he was in, and my heart sank. Shame set in as I realized that I was pissed at someone who just seriously injured themselves.
Buster Posey is an integral part of the SF Giants, but he isn’t the whole team. It annoys me that everybody questions the future success of the Giants because of his injury. I’m sporting my Buster Posey tee today, but I think the Giants can make it with his support on the sideline.
